What should be included in architectural plans?
Architectural plans need to be detailed enough to allow accurate SIP design and engineering. Floor plans, elevations, sections and thermal requirements are essential before work can begin.
A complete architectural drawing set allows us to properly review your project and move into SIP design without delay.
Typically, this includes:
-
Floor plans showing full build-ups and panel positions
-
Elevations
-
Sections
-
Build-up details and specifications
-
Thermal performance requirements
-
Any known system information (MVHR, UFH, solar etc.)
The level of detail directly affects how quickly design can begin — incomplete or planning-only drawings usually mean delays.
