What stage of architectural drawings do you need to prepare a SIP estimate?

We prepare SIP estimates based on the dimensional drawings produced by the project architect. For construction, we work to the final Building Regulations drawings provided by the architect as principal designer.

SIP Build UK prepares estimates based on the architectural drawings provided by the project architect.

For the final design and installation of the SIP structure, we work to the dimensional Building Regulations drawings issued by the architect, who acts as the principal designer for the project.

Earlier stage drawings, such as floor plans and elevations, can usually be sufficient for an initial estimate. These can typically be provided in PDF format so that we can review the project and prepare a free of charge estimate.

As projects progress towards Building Regulations approval, we can provide our standard construction details, along with our relevant certifications, accreditations and fire test data to support the design team.

We can also assist in ensuring the SIP system achieves the required thermal performance for the project, including providing U-value calculations for the proposed wall and roof build-up.
